Ketu's Clay Labyrinth

Ketu’s Clay Labyrinth is a pottery art piece designed by Polona Zajc. It is crafted as a ceramic pendant on a cord with a clasp. The pendant depicts Ketu’s Labyrinth, which symbolizes the labyrinth of freedom. It is a one-of-a-kind piece, handcrafted from gray clay, glazed, and fired at 1200°C. Diameter: 6 cm; cord length: 30 cm. The labyrinth is available in a single edition, featuring a gradient of gray and blue—the colors of Ketu’s labyrinth. The details are accented with real gold.

Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc

Polona Zajc’s pottery art collection features ceramic jewelry in the shape of various labyrinths. The collection includes sixteen different labyrinth symbols. Each is crafted in a color specific to that particular labyrinth. The labyrinth symbol is a relief, handcrafted as a one-of-a-kind piece. Various colors of clay are used, which then serve as the base for glazes of different colors. The pendant featuring the Ketu labyrinth is suspended from a cord fastened with a clasp. This jewelry is of high quality, but its significance lies primarily in the clay-formed labyrinth symbols, each of which has its own meaning and purpose for the wearer as well as for the environment in which it is worn.

Ketu's Labyrinth

The Labyrinth of Freedom, or Ketu's Labyrinth, is one of two labyrinths that are different from the others. It has no centre, and so it has no mirror shapes. Therefore, we move through the Labyrinth of Freedom in an expressive or receptive direction, but there is no longer an expressive or receptive form. The use of the labyrinth is recommended for people who are under severe stress and already show symptoms of psychosomatic disorders or even mental imbalance. Moving through the labyrinth expressively will deepen mental acuity, logic, mathematical skills and insight. Moving in a receptive direction will be particularly good for eliminating fear, panic, discomfort, restlessness, destructive behaviours, blackouts and decay in general. One of the basic symbols of this labyrinth is freedom. Its use nullifies patterns and liberates. That is, it will lead us to a place beyond where we are now. For ultimate freedom is achieved when we shake off the shackles of karma and leave behind the attachment to action.
