Slovenian Clay baking trays for baking in the oven is a series of ceramic products pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. The baking trays are made by hand, following different processes described for each product. The ceramic baking trays are also hand-painted in a typical pottery art pattern in different versions and colours. The products are made using the highest quality clays and glazes, which are fired at temperatures ranging from 1050°C to 1220°C, when the clay turns to stoneware.

Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc has a series of clay baking trays for baking in the oven in her ceramic collection. There are two lines of baking trays in the series. One includes round pie pans, oval baking trays with or without lids and different sizes. Most of them also have sturdy handles for easier use when hot. This range also includes square baking trays and oval trays. The second line includes cake pans in different dimensions, as well as an elongated cake pan with cake baking handles. These are the most typical pottery vessels, the traditional pottery pots for cake, called potica.
Handmade baking trays
Handmade baking trays, that is the main feature and quality of these trays. They are mainly made on a potter's spindle, using a process that has been known for centuries. They are decorated with hand-painting, using different clay colours. The clay and the glaze are well matched so that the baking tray does not absorb grease, thus preserving its quality for a longer period. The baking trays are of certain dimensions, but we can also produce baking trays to order on request. This means custom-made not only in terms of size, but also in terms of colours, shapes, painting, lettering and more. In this way, clay baking trays can be completely unique.
