Slovenian The unique clay jars are products of the pottery art clay design of Polona Zajc. They are exclusively handmade clay jars, either by turning the clay on a potter's spindle or by pouring the liquid clay into plaster moulds, which are also of her own making. We use different glazes, engobe (clay mixed with pigment), underglaze paints, oxides... On surfaces where there is contact with food, the jars are always glazed with a non-porous glaze certified for household use. They are therefore of top quality and dishwasher safe.

Unique clay jars are part of the Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. They are made as pottery or as stoneware, depending on which clay was used. The ceramic and stoneware jars, as well as all the products on this website, are the product of the designer's imagination, or are created by mutual agreement with the client, who adds his own wishes and ideas. This way, bespoke products are created in any form.
Ceramic jars
The ceramic jars are part of the series unique clay jars pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. They are made of clays that have a lower firing temperature, i.e. around 1030°C. They are glazed with glazes that are intended for contact with foodstuffs, so they are safe for household use. They can be washed in a dishwasher. They are made exclusively by hand, usually in the technique of rotation on a potter's spindle. The motifs on the jars are imaginary, hand-painted with different colours. Ceramic jars are made in all sizes and colours for different purposes. Jars can also be made to order.

Jars made of stoneware
Jars made of stoneware are part of the series unique jars made of clay pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. They are made of special clays that can withstand high firing temperatures, around 1220°C. This gives them an even higher quality. They are glazed with glazes intended for contact with foodstuffs, so they are safe for household use. They are dishwasher safe. They are made entirely by hand, both the clay moulding and the painting. This collection also includes earthenware jars with details painted in precious metals such as gold or platinum. These are precious unique clay jars.
