Unique snowflakes made of clay

Unique clay snowflakes are a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. They are made of grey clay, like plaster casts. When the clay is pressed into the plaster model, it takes the shape of a snowflake. It is then incised with patterns of lines and holes. The fired clay snowflakes are glazed with different iridescent glazes to accentuate the patterns cut into the clay. Snowflakes are made from a thin layer of clay, are light yet firm, and are fired at 1220°C. The diameter is 13 cm.

Handmade ceramic snowflakes

Handmade ceramic snowflakes are beautiful little decorative ornaments made of clay. Two basic shapes are used to create completely unique snowflakes.
