Low clay pie pan, for baking pizzas, etc. This is a stoneware baking tray, handmade on a potter's spindle. It is part of the series of baking pans pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is made of red chamotte clay, coated with white clay inside and hand-painted. It is fired at 1200°C and glazed on the food contact surfaces with a glaze certified safe for household use (traceability mark LOT17). The baking tray has a diameter of 28 cm and a height of 6 cm.

It has a round shape with a low rim, which is shaped and decorated with a distinctive pattern reminiscent of Slovenian tradition. In this sense, it can also be called a traditional clay baking dish. A modern touch is evident in the higher-quality clay used today for making ceramic products, as well as in the accompanying glaze, which ensures it is safe for household use. The interior surface of the shallow clay baking dish is smooth, so that baked food does not stick to it. The appropriate firing temperature during the manufacturing process ensures a high-quality material that is non-porous and does not absorb grease.
