Dark green cup with saucer is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is a set of a cup and saucer made by hand on a pottery spindle from black stoneware. The inside of the cup is glazed with a glaze suitable for food contact (traceability mark LOT17). The outside of the cup and saucer is glazed with a dark green semi-matt glaze. It is fired at 1220 °C. The cup is perfectly suitable for a variety of beverages and can be washed in the dishwasher after use. The height of the cup is 8 cm, the diameter of the saucer is 14 cm.

The cup, with its sculpted distinctive pottery art pattern, fluted rim and spiral-finished handle, in a subdued dark green semi-gloss colour, is a perfectly romantic piece of stoneware. The set is completed by a saucer with a pattern of perforated holes giving an impression of fragility and tenderness. Despite its uniqueness and special shape, the dark green cup and saucer is perfectly practical to use, as it is of high quality and made for long-lasting use. Two sets of cup and saucer are available. The result is a cosy, romantic place setting for two, enjoying good aromatic coffee and pastries in unique, handmade stoneware vessels.
