Bespoke products
The creation of ceramics, which we call bespoke products, pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc is done in collaboration with clients. In the first phase, when the products are discussed, there is also collaboration in the selection of the product. The client tells us his wishes, what product or several products he would like to have. If they are company products, they usually relate to the story the company has behind it, if they are protocol products, they usually relate to the story of the area they will represent. Bespoke products are also completely individual pieces of ceramics, or furnishing an ambience with unique tiles. And of course, the collaboration on product selection is with each individual client, even if it is just for a single product.
Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc
Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc is always ready to discuss the selection process when creating unique ceramics to order. The client's wishes and ideas are taken into account to the extent that it is technically possible to make the product. There are enough different clays and glazes available for making so that many things can be created.
Unique ceramics made to order
Unique bespoke ceramics are created in collaboration with the customer during the product development phase. Once the customer has decided which product they would like to order, different patterns are first created on that theme. And then there is the collaboration in the creation of the ceramic product. The client is involved in the choice of clay colour, glaze colour, size and more. This creates a refined picture of what the finished product should look like to best represent the client's wishes. Of course, this is not always the case. Often, the client leaves most of the choice in the creation of the product to the designer. The final say in the creation of ceramics is, of course, the fire in the kiln, that is to say, the last stage of the product's creation, which is quite unpredictable. And usually the clients are satisfied with the finished product
