Mercury’s Labyrinth in Clay, or the Labyrinth of Connection, is a series of ceramic pieces featuring the symbol of a labyrinth. It reveals the inner player within us. Life is a game, and those who know the rules of this game and are skilled at applying them fare best. Good players always bring the game—and, by extension, everyone’s joy—to a successful conclusion, because life consists of both receiving and giving. That is why Mercury’s Labyrinth represents the path to the inner player. Its element is air, its color is green, its direction is north, and its natural form is expressive.
