Handmade clay bowl with poppy is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is a decorative stoneware bowl. Made on a pottery spindle from grey clay, which turns to stoneware at a high firing temperature. The interior is painted with a motif of poppies and wheat ears in soft beige with red flowers. The bowl is fired at 1200°C. The height is 7 cm, the diameter at the top is 32 cm.

The gold is applied by hand, with a brush, and is completely durable, as it is fired with a third firing at 800°C.

Inside, it has a sculpted wheat field motif with poppy flowers hand-painted in vibrant red. The grey clay is fired at a high temperature so that the bowl can be washed in the dishwasher. The unique poppy bowl is suitable for serving fruit or other dry food.
