Handmade clay bowl with poppy

Handmade clay bowl with poppy is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is a decorative stoneware bowl. Made on a pottery spindle from grey clay, which turns to stoneware at a high firing temperature. The interior is painted with a motif of poppies and wheat ears in soft beige with red flowers. The bowl is fired at 1200°C. The height is 7 cm, the diameter at the top is 32 cm.

Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc has a line of unique clay bowls in its product collection. This line includes unique clay bowls for the home or kitchen. They can be made as ceramics or as stoneware. Here you will find a wide variety of shapes, colours and sizes of bowls, handmade on a potter's spindle or cast in plaster moulds of your own making. All are hand-painted and some are hand-perforated with holes of various sizes. The result is a beautiful pattern typical of pottery art. Some of the unique clay bowls have details accentuated with real gold, giving them a solemn and, above all, precious touch. The gold is applied by hand, with a brush, and is completely durable, as it is fired with a third firing at 800°C.

Poppy motif stoneware bowl

Skleda iz kamenine z motivom maka  je ročno narejena na lončarskem vretenu in je tudi ročno poslikana z različnimi glazurami. V notranjosti ima vrezan motiv pšeničnega polja z cvetovi maka, ki so ročno poslikani z živahno rdečo barvo. Siva glina je žgana pri visoki temperaturi, tako da skledo lahko operemo v pomivalnem stroju. Unikatna makova skleda je primerna za  postrežbo sadja ali druge suhe hrane. Poleg uporabnosti je ročno izdelana glinena  skleda tudi dekorativen kos kamenine, ki polepša vsako kuhinjo ali jedilnico in je s svojo unikatnostjo mali kos umetnine.
