Unique little clay egg

Unique little clay egg is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is made in the technique of pouring liquid clay into a plaster model of her own making. The surface is hand painted with different colours of glazes. Some have the surface hand-perforated with holes, creating a beautiful pattern typical of pottery art clay design. The small decorative ceramic egg is fired at 1030°C. The colours are durable, as they are exclusively intended for clay dyeing use and go beyond the firing process. It has a metal loop at the top on which the unique little clay egg can hang. The height of the product is 6 cm.

Pottery art oblikovanje gline Polone Zajc ima v svoji zbirki unikatni obeski iz gline različna unikatna glinena jajca. Narejena so v različnih velikostih. Največji je narejen v izrezani obliki, po sredini so na vrvici nanizani ročno izdelani unikatni okraski iz gline. Sledita pa še unikatno srednje in  unikatno veliko glineno jajce. Vsi so narejeni izključno ročno, poslikani v različnih barvah, nekateri pa so perforirani z luknjicami, kar daje izdelku čudovit vzorec, značilen za pottery art oblikovanje gline.

It is hand-painted on the surface with different colours in a typical pottery art pattern, with perforated holes of different sizes. This is a small decorative clay egg, made as a clay pendant to adorn the home at Easter. In fact, the egg is a typical shape that appears at Easter, a holiday that essentially heralds the arrival of spring. At this time, life expands once again into all the pores of our existence, the time of light grows longer and longer, and people become more joyful. It is the time when we decorate our home to make it more beautiful and more pleasant to live in. And that's what the little Easter egg made of clay, in vibrant colours, is all about. Made exclusively by hand, the clay egg is unique because each of its designs is inimitable.
