Colorful clay tea cup

Colorful clay tea cup is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is a handmade ceramic tea cup, made on a pottery spindle from classic red clay. The exterior is painted in vivid colours, while the interior is cast behind white clay and glazed with a transparent glaze certified for food use (traceability code LOT15). The cup is fired at 1030°C, when the clay turns into ceramic. The height is 12 cm and the diameter at the top is 11 cm.

Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc has a variety of unique cups in her collection. Some of them come with a saucer. All of them belong to the series of unique pottery for the kitchen, which means that they are perfectly usable for drinks and can be washed in the dishwasher. The coloured ceramic cup is a larger tea cup. It is made by hand on a potter's spindle and is also completely hand-painted with different glazes. It is perfectly usable for tea or other beverages. The ceramic is fired at a high temperature so it is of high quality and dishwasher safe. Its special feature is its size and, of course, the vivid glazes that decorate it. Each one is completely unique in the pattern of stripes and colours, in the shape of the handle and in the shape of the cup itself. In addition to its utility, the vividly painted tea cup is also a decorative piece of ceramics that brightens up any kitchen or dining room and is a little piece of art with its uniqueness.
