Moon Labyrinth on a cup
The Moon Labyrinth on a cup is a symbol of a labyrinth of feelings carved into ceramic. The cup is made by hand on a potter's spindle from grey-white clay. Its interior is covered with black clay. The carved symbol is highlighted in black. It is fired at 1040 °C. It is glazed with a suitable glaze (LOT15) on the surfaces where it comes into contact with food. The height of the cup is 11 cm, the diameter 10 cm. The cup is useful for storing and eating food, as well as for decoration, and it is the Moon labyrinth that gives it its special meaning and utility.
Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc
The moon labyrinth on the cup is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. There are 16 different cups in the collection, each with a different labyrinth shape sculpted into it, each with its own meaning and function. They are made exclusively by hand, from the highest quality clay and glazed with a glaze that is certified to be safe for food use. They are therefore of the highest quality. Of course, each one is unique, not only because it is handmade, but because each one bears the symbol of a labyrinth.
Labyrinth of feelings
The Labyrinth of Feelings, or the Moon Labyrinth, is based on the spiral as the oldest symbol of humanity. It can therefore be said to be the oldest labyrinth. It refers to the sphere of life which bears its name. So with the emotional life of the individual. Emotions and feelings accompany us throughout our lives, and therefore balanced emotions are extremely important, because we always and without exception rely on them. The instability of emotions can lead us to become hypersensitive, agitated and anxious. It also affects our behaviour. A natural, receptive form such as the Moon Labyrinth on a cup, when used, will create inner emotional stability, enhance our understanding of other people, improve the subtlety of our spirit and multiply our heartfulness. Where the Labyrinth of Feelings is present, compassion in people is strengthened. They will become warm-hearted and good hosts. This is true of any Labyrinth of Feelings, no matter how it is depicted.
