Clay angel

Clay angel is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is made of grey clay, like an impression from a plaster model. When the clay is pressed into the plaster mould, it takes the form of an angel in relief. The image of the angel is stamped on both sides. The fired clay angel is glazed with different overglazes to emphasise the relief image of the angel moulded in the clay. The ceramic angel is made of two thin layers of clay, so it is light yet strong, fired at 1220°C. Length 11 cm.

Unique clay little angels
