Unique crystal blue salt/sugar container

Unique crystal blue salt/sugar container is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is made on a pottery spindle from white stoneware. The handmade salt/sugar bowl is painted with a crystal blue glaze and the details are accentuated with real silver. The interior of the bowl is glazed with a glaze suitable for contact with foodstuffs (traceability mark LOT17). It is fired at 1220°C, the silver is fired with a third firing at 800°C. The unique crystal blue salt/sugar bowl is 13 cm high.

Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc has a variety of unique vessels in her collection of clay products. They can be ceramic or made of stoneware. They are designed for home decoration or for use in the kitchen. The handmade sugar bowl/salver is part of the vessels, which are made in the same style with the same combination of materials. These include a unique crystal blue tea bowl, a unique crystal blue spice bowl and a unique crystal blue egg tray. I will continue to add to the series as time goes on. All of them are made to be used in the kitchen. They can easily be washed in the dishwasher after use.

The silver blue salt/sugar dispenser is part of our handmade kitchen salt dispensers. It is designed to store sugar or salt, which are part of any good cooking. Of course, it can be used to store anything. Its rustic look with a slight touch of preciousness, given by real silver, will go with any kitchen. A matt cream base colour, painted with a beautifully iridescent light blue glaze, and details accentuated with real silver. The shape is rounded with a fitting cap. The handmade crystal blue salt/sugar bowl is a decorative and useful vessel on a shelf near the stove, so that accessories are always close at hand. With one or more of them, the kitchen becomes a unique place of variety of utensils. Serial and individual handmade one-offs.
