Handmade clay cup with poppy is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is a stoneware tea cup. Made on a pottery spindle from grey clay, which turns to stoneware at high firing temperature. The exterior is painted with a poppy motif and the interior is glazed with a transparent glaze, which is certified for use in contact with foodstuffs (traceability mark LOT17). The cup is fired at a temperature of 1200°C. The height is 9 cm and the diameter at the top is 12 cm. The volume of the cup is 400ml.
