Unique crystal blue tea pot

Unique crystal blue tea bowl is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is made on a pottery spindle from white stoneware. The handmade teapot is painted with a crystal blue glaze and the details are accentuated with real silver. The interior is glazed with a glaze suitable for contact with foodstuffs (traceability mark LOT17). It is fired at 1220°C, the silver is fired with a third firing at 800°C. The unique crystal blue teapot is 20 cm high.

Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc has a variety of unique vessels in her collection of clay products. They can be ceramic or made of stoneware. They are designed for home decoration or for use in the kitchen. The handmade teapot is part of a series of vessels made in the same style with the same combination of materials. These include a unique crystal blue spice pot, a unique crystal blue salt/sugar container and a unique crystal blue egg tray. I will be adding to the series as time goes on. All are made for use in the kitchen. They can easily be washed in the dishwasher after use.

The silver blue tea dispenser is part of the handmade kitchenware range. It is designed to store the dry ingredients for tea, which is part of any good cooking. Of course, it can be used to store anything. Its rustic look with a slight touch of preciousness, given by real silver, will go with any kitchen. A matt cream base colour, painted with a beautifully iridescent light blue glaze, and details accentuated with real silver. The shape is rounded with a fitting cap. The handmade crystal blue teapot is a decorative and useful vessel on a shelf near the stove to keep a fragrant tea blend close at hand. With it or several of them, the kitchen becomes a unique space of variety of utensils. Serial and individual handmade one-offs.
