VENUS' LABYRINTH

VENUS' LABYRINTH

Love is one of the most important and fascinating aspects of our lives. We all need it, which is why Venus’s Labyrinth is an important place for everyone to explore. It governs relationships with partners, sexuality, and procreation. Its element is water, its colors are those of the rainbow, its direction is southeast, and its natural form is receptive.

Some of the pieces created as part of Polona Zajc’s pottery art clay designs also incorporate the symbol of the Labyrinth of Love and Creativity—or Venus’s Labyrinth—into their forms. This symbol makes them special, as everything associated with love is special and precious. They can be found on various items, both those for everyday use and those we come into contact with whenever we encounter them somewhere in our homes.

Labyrinth of love and creativity

The Labyrinth of Love represents all internal and external experiences related to falling in love, emotions, and sexuality. At the same time, it is also a labyrinth of creativity, which is linked to fertility and the creation of new life. The Labyrinth of Love and Creativity is important for everyone. Its receptive form, in particular, will benefit all artists—or rather, all creators. Walking through or utilizing its expressive form will neutralize the negative aspects of love—namely, greed and jealousy—which stem from fear, which is in itself the opposite of love. Venus’s labyrinth is closely connected to the realm of enjoyment and happiness. Using it will increase our ability to enjoy what we have and strengthen our capacity to create new wealth. This labyrinth is also closely connected to the body. It represents fertility, which is why the symbol of the labyrinth is also very important for the surroundings in which it is located. It attracts loving and creative energy and then radiates it out.
