The pendant with a cord and a clasp represents the Labyrinth of Transformation or the Labyrinth of Rahu. It is made by hand, one unique symbol of the labyrinth. The black clay is glazed and fired at 1200°C. The diameter is 6 cm, the length of the cord is 30 cm. The labyrinth of transformation gives the pendant a special meaning and the energy that the labyrinth carries within itself

Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc has a series of labyrinth pendants in her collection of ceramic products. There are 16 different shapes of labyrinths in the series. Each one carries a special energy to work outwards and inwards. Because of this action, this is no ordinary ceramic jewellery. Each individual can choose the shape that will be most beneficial to them, depending on their needs. Labyrinths are usually built on the ground so that their paths can be walked. On these pages, the labyrinths are depicted in clay, with their characteristic shapes and in their own colours. The effect is the same as that of labyrinths on the ground.

Rahu's Labyrinth

The Labyrinth of Transformation, or Rahu's Labyrinth, is one of the two labyrinths that no longer have a centre. They can be moved in the expressive and receptive directions, but they do not have mirror forms. The character of the labyrinth of transformation is the absence of a goal. There is no purpose or goal in moving through it, only the fact that we are constantly changing. The only constant in this world is change. And it is this realisation that the use of the labyrinth of transformation promotes. Its best effect of action is to promote adaptability and the ability to accept new conditions. It will therefore be used by those knocking on the door of difficult trials, moves, job changes, loss of loved ones, tragedies and generally events that turn our lives upside down.
