Cup with Saturn's labyrinth

The Saturn Labyrinth cup is special because of the engraved symbol on the outside. This is the symbol of the Labyrinth of Life and Death or Saturn's Labyrinth. The cup is made on a potter's spindle from grey-white clay. The interior is covered with black clay. The symbol is highlighted in black. It is fired at 1040 °C. It is glazed with a suitable glaze (LOT15) on the surfaces where it comes into contact with food. The height of the cup is 11 cm, the diameter 10 cm. The cup with Saturn's labyrinth is intended for eating and drinking, but also as a decorative object. The engraved symbol gives it a special purpose and meaning.

The cups with labyrinths are part of the Pottery Art Clay Design products by Polona Zajc. They are special because they are sculpted with nine different symbols and seven mirror shapes. The labyrinth is important precisely because its symbolism depicts death as a process and not as an end. The present cup is engraved with its natural, receptive form. Therefore, walking the labyrinth, or in our case moving through it in an imaginary way, will encourage certain positive qualities such as perseverance, modesty, reliability and simplicity. The energy that the labyrinth carries within itself and redirects to the surroundings will make people more thorough, reliable and long-lived.
