Pendant with Saturn's labyrinth is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is made as a ceramic jewellery on a cord with a clasp. The pendant depicts the Labyrinth of Life and Death, which represents the labyrinth of life and death in its natural, receptive form. It is a cast of a plaster model of her own making, made of black clay, glazed and fired at 1040°C. Diameter 4,5 cm, length of cord 22 or 27 cm. The relief print of the labyrinth is black and blue, which is the colour of Saturn's labyrinth.

Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc has ceramic jewellery in the shape of different labirynths in her collection. There are 16 different symbols of labyrinths in the collection. Each one is made in a colour specific to the individual labyrinth. The symbol of the labyrinth is a relief made by impressing clay into a plaster mould. Different colours of clay are used, which is then used as a base for glazes of different colours. The Saturn's Labyrinth pendant is carried by a two-length cord, which is held together by a clasp. The quality of the jewellery is thus high, but above all, the meaning is given by the symbols of the labyrinths imprinted in the clay, each of which has its own significance and usefulness for the wearer as well as for the surroundings in which it is placed.

Labyrinth of life and death

Saturn's labyrinth is also called the Labyrinth of Life and Death. The name of this labyrinth shows how wide an area it covers. It is one of the most fundamental and most necessary. It also carries in its name the concept of death, and this is the only experience that we will all have, without exception. The symbolism of the labyrinth shows death as a process, not as an end. Thus, death as a central motif is not a reason to be afraid, but a reason to respect an extremely important human experience. Its natural receptive form depicted on the pendant will reinforce perseverance, modesty, reliability and simplicity. The labyrinth has a beneficial effect on the process of introspection and calming of mental activity due to the energy that the labyrinth holds within itself and redirects to the surroundings and wearers.
