Unique low bowl

Unique low bowl is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is made on a pottery spindle from black clay. It has a typical pottery art pattern sculpted around the rim. It is glazed with a lilac matt glaze, which transitions to a shiny blue colour at the rim. The lilac-coloured bowl is fired at a temperature of 1200°C, when the black clay turns into a solid rock. This is a material that is extremely high quality, hard and resistant to external influences. The bowl has a diameter of 30 cm.

Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc has a line of unique clay bowls in its product collection. This line includes unique clay bowls for the home or kitchen. They can be made as ceramics or as stoneware. Here you will find a wide variety of shapes, colours and sizes of bowls, handmade on a potter's spindle or cast in plaster moulds of your own making. All are hand-painted and some are hand-perforated with holes of various sizes. The result is a beautiful pattern typical of pottery art. Some of the unique clay bowls have details accentuated with real gold, giving them a solemn and, above all, precious touch. The gold is applied by hand, with a brush, and is completely durable, as it is fired with a third firing at 800°C.

Clay fruit bowl

The clay fruit bowl is completely handmade. I shaped it on a pottery spindle. After a short drying time, I sculpted the rim with a typical pottery art pattern. I glazed the completely dried bowl with a matt lilac glaze, which shades into shimmering blue at the rim. After firing at high temperature, the low clay bowl took on its true form. It is a bowl that is intended for home decoration as well as for use. It can be used to serve dry food such as nuts, biscuits, crisps or any other snacks. Or you can fill it with fruit. Whatever the use, the low bowl in lilac blue shades will brighten up any ambience with its presence.
