Unique Spring bowl

Unique bowl spring is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is made by hand on a pottery spindle from grey stoneware. Inside it has a typical pottery art pattern sculpted in it, hand-painted with different glazes. A transparent glaze is applied over the surface, which gives the product its use value (traceability mark LOT17). It is fired at 1220°C. This makes the Spring clay bowl suitable for serving and storing food. The diameter is 13 cm , the height is 6 cm.

Pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc has a line of unique clay bowls in its product collection. This line includes unique clay bowls for the home or kitchen. They can be made as ceramics or as stoneware. Here you will find a wide variety of shapes, colours and sizes of bowls, handmade on a potter's spindle or cast in plaster moulds of your own making. All are hand-painted and some are hand-perforated with holes of various sizes. The result is a beautiful pattern typical of pottery art. Some of the unique clay bowls have details accentuated with real gold, giving them a solemn and, above all, precious touch. The gold is applied by hand, with a brush, and is completely durable, as it is fired with a third firing at 800°C.

Stoneware bowl with spring colours

The Stoneware bowl with spring colours is a unique clay bowl. It is made entirely by hand. A lump of grey clay, rotating on a potter's spindle, was used to create the bowl. I sculpted a typical pottery art pattern into the interior, which I hand-painted with different shades of stoneware glazes after the first firing. After the second firing, a beautiful bowl was created. The interior is reminiscent of all the variety of colours that appear in spring, when nature is in full bloom. The vibrancy of the colours is also emphasised by the undulating rim of the bowl, which can only be created by shaping the clay by hand. The cup is perfectly usable, but it can serve as a decorative object in any home.
