Small unique clay bowl Universe is a product of pottery art clay design by Polona Zajc. It is made of grey clay, in a combination of two techniques. The bowl is cast in a plaster mould, as are all the spheres and hemispheres that decorate it. The base is turned on a potter's spindle. It is glazed in an iridescent grey-blue colour. The handmade stoneware bowl is fired at 1200°C, when the clay turns to stoneware. This is an extremely hard and high quality material. The height of the bowl is 8 cm, the diameter is 14 cm .

The gold is applied by hand, with a brush, and is completely durable, as it is fired with a third firing at 800°C.
